Aliens helping earthling snowmobilers?

On Monday Dec. 13, Space Aliens Grill & Bar will support the 2011 Snow Run USA Tour, which will bring the 2nd Annual North Dakota Snow Run to Lake Metigoshe on Jan 14 and 15, 2011. The Pink Ribbon Riders and Snowmobile North Dakota are excited to partner to bring this event to North Dakota. Please bring a copy of the Aliens Helping Earthlings – Pink Ribbon Ridersto Space Aliens Grill & Bar, during normal business hours on Dec. 13, and 25% of your total purchase will be donated to this worthy cause.

 
The Pink Ribbon Riders is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) volunteer based organization that provides direct financial assistance to both men and women breast cancer patients through fundraising events and the Snow Run USA Tour.

‘Space Aliens Helping Earthlings’ is an organization started by Space Aliens Grill & Bar to Aliens Helping Earthlings – Pink Ribbon Riders help support local teams, charities, and community projects. Through the ‘Space Aliens Helping Earthlings’ program Space Aliens Grill & Bar has helped raise money for local charities as well as help offset expenses for many youth sports teams.

Volunteer hours are the backbone of the success of the Rural Cass Snowmobile Club. Last year, more than 400 hours of volunteer time went into the trail and groomer maintenance.  Snowmobile North Dakota tracks these hours to help show the depth of the organization. Knowing this information is helpful for grant writing or for helping the ND legistlature understand more about the organization.

The club uses an online system to track the volunteer hours from club members.  On this page, you can enter your name, date you volunteered and the total hours you donated to the club. Be sure to enter your volunteer hours as soon as you complete them.  And, thank you for all you do for the Rural Cass Snowmobile Club.

Snowmobile North Dakota schedules meeting in Casselton

Snowmobile North Dakota will hold a Region 5 Trail Meeting on Friday, Dec 3, at 7 PM at the Country Kitchen, Casselton.

Agenda items will include:

  • Communications between clubs, associations and SND
  • Grooming operations and paperwork
  • Trail signing requirements and trail inspections
  • SND Events
  • National Snowmobile Organization report
  • ND Parks and Recreation discussion of state laws
  • Trail enforcement
  • Non-resident trail pass program
  • Youth snowmobile safety education

All local snowmobilers are encouraged to attend.
