SnowJam 2014 — it’s only a few weeks away

Make plans now to attend SnowJam 2014 on Saturday, Feb 14.

We’ve got the planning underway, including:

  • Trail will be groomed and open just as soon as the wind stops blowing
  • We’re gathering prizes for the evening portion of the event
  • Essentia Health of Fargo has a special “trail stop” surprise trail stop planned
  • Trophies for the vintage snowmobile display are on order

You won’t want to miss it!

Too much wind for grooming

Due to the winds that are forecasted tonight (Blizzard Watch in effect), we will not be grooming this weekend. Looks like we will be getting more snow so stay tuned for next week.

When will the trail open?

With the recent snow, we are hoping to get the Rural Cass Snowmobile Club trails open for this weekend. Grooming will depend upon the weather since we won’t groom if high winds are forecast since it just blows in again and is a waste of time and fuel.

Check back later to see the status.
