Another special meeting of Rural Cass Snowmobile Club called for Thursday, Dec 19

Members of the Rural Cass Snowmobile Club are encouraged to attend a SPECIAL club meeting on Thursday, Dec. 19, at 7 PM at Hagge’s Bar and Grill, Mapleton.

This meeting will be focused on further discussion on the future of the north loop of the club’s snowmobile trail system.  Topics will include:

  • Discussion on potentially getting an extension from Snowmobile ND to complete the trail signing for the north loop (deadline was Dec 15 and 48 miles are not signed); this loop connects Mapleton, Harwood, Argusville, Arthur and Amenia
  • Determining if there are enough volunteers to sign the remaining 48 miles ASAP if an extension is granted
  • Discussion on trail changes in the north loop for this year, in order to avoid current construction
  • Future of north trail overall due to lack of volunteers to help with signing, including discussing any ideas members have to put a plan in place early to secure volunteers

All current and past club members are encouraged to attend and offer their ideas and opinions.
