How do the snowmobile trails get groomed?

Curious how the local snowmobile trails get groomed? For the trail operated by the Rural Cass Snowmobile Club, two groomers are involved. Around the south loop near Mapleton, Davenport and Leonard, a state-owned Tucker groomer is used. This groomer is shared with the Red River Sno-riders.

For the north loop of Amenia, Arthur, Argusville and Mapleton, the club uses the 1989 Tucker Sno-Cat Model 2000 pictured below. If you see someone out grooming, thank them, because they are volunteering their time to do this grooming. The grooming takes about a full day per loop, providing all goes well.
