As we get a bit more snow in the area, it might be time for a quick refresher on the snowmobiling hand signals for trail riding.

Snowmobiling Sunday! is set for Sunday, Jan 24. Local snowmobilers can join members of the Rural Cass Snowmobile Club at the club’s warming house for a bonfire, plus hot chocolate and hot dogs roasted on the fire. All ages welcome.

Here’s the latest on Grooming
Yesterday we posted that the entire trail had been groomed, but we spoke too soon. The groomer ended up having a significant break down and it’s now at the shop waiting for parts to arrive. Needless to say, the grooming didn’t get finish (Huge Bummer!) We think it will be about a week to get it running again.
So, the trail basically was groomed in an “S” shape. It’s groomed from Davenport going north and then west to Casselton. And, it’s groomed from Casselton going north and then east to the warming house.
