Here’s wishing you a terrific Thanksgiving holiday from the Rural Cass Snowmobile Club. We’re sure that one of the things you’re thankful for is a field full of fresh powder. If you see someone out getting the last of the snowmobile trail signs up, remember to give them a shout out too.

SnowJam 2011, the premier snowmobiling event in the eastern part of North Dakota has been scheduled for Saturday, Jan 22, with headquarters at Hagge’s Bar and Grill in Mapleton.
“Mark your calendars now for what’s become known statewide as a very fun snowmobiling day,” said Troy Klevgard, president of the Rural Cass Snowmobile Club, who is the sponsor for SnowJam.
Key items at SnowJam will include a snowmobile trail ride along more than 100 miles of groomed Cass County trails, a vintage snowmobile display and ride, tons of prizes and a band in the evening. Stay tuned for a few surprises this year, as well.
Looking for a place to spend the night? Check out Governor’s Inn in Casselton, a hotel located right along the snowmobile trail. And, drop in for a trail stop at many restaurants, gas stations and other businesses who serve snowmobilers riding in the area.
